1. Website data

The Velqo website is a static site hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When your browser requests a page, standard technical data may be processed to deliver, secure, and debug the site. This can include:

• IP address
• Browser type and version
• Requested URL and referrer
• Timestamps

Cloudflare may set essential cookies (such as __cf_bm) for bot protection and security. These are strictly necessary and do not track you for advertising purposes. No analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising scripts are used on this website.

2. App data

The Velqo iOS app processes images you upload for AI-powered antique identification. Key points:

• Image processing: Uploaded images are sent to third-party AI services (OpenAI API, Google Gemini API) for real-time analysis. Images are processed temporarily and are not permanently stored on our servers.
• No personal data collection: We do not collect or store personal data from app users, including face data. Any face data present in uploaded images is processed in real time and not separately extracted or stored.
• Local storage: Generated results saved on your device are stored locally. We have no access to content saved on your device.
• Advertising and analytics: With your consent via Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework, device identifiers and app interaction events may be shared with advertising and analytics services. You can manage this in iOS Settings at any time.

3. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services that may process data under their own privacy policies:

• OpenAI — image analysis via API
• Google Gemini — image analysis via API
• Cloudflare — website hosting and CDN
• Apple — App Store distribution and payments

4. Data retention

We do not maintain a database of user data. Uploaded images are processed in real time and automatically discarded after processing. Cloudflare may retain standard server logs for a limited period in accordance with their data retention policies. No personal data is retained by Mian Ltd. beyond what is necessary for the immediate delivery of the service.

5. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• GDPR (EU/UK): Right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object. Since we do not store personal data, most of these rights are satisfied by default.
• CCPA (California): Right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

6. Children's privacy

Velqo is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we become aware that data has been inadvertently collected from a child under 13, it will be deleted immediately.

All data transmitted between your device and our services is encrypted using industry-standard protocols (HTTPS/TLS). While no method of transmission is 100% secure, we take reasonable measures to protect the information processed through our services.
